So HAPPY in her new minnie mouse pj's!!!!

So, today was actually a nice day.....YEAH!!!! We played outside a lot today....this morning we got to enjoy the boat on the deck...of course it was really 72degrees outside, but on our deck it was a nice hot 85degrees.....it's always 10-15 degrees warmer on our deck, so that has been nice on these not so nice days lately. This afternoon, we played out front....Cainan has been practicing his golf swing lately and as you would expect (if you know Cainan) he is really good at that too!!!!! Fun summer times are slowly coming to a close, but new fun fall activites are already planned....Cainan is also going to start soccer in September and Kiki is going to start dance classes.

Today, Cainan comes back from breakfast....."Mommy, mommy look what Great Papa gave me!!!! I have to show you what to do.....wanna watch me?????" "Of course, I do!!!!!" He raced and raced them....so much fun....THANK YOU GREAT PAPA:)

At tennis today, Cainan kept hitting the ball really well over the net until he was all the way back at the baseline....he got to keep his first "baseline ball":)

WHAT is HE doing???????

It was a good day.....Kiki and I went shoe shopping for her with my mom this morning, then me and Kiki met Dennis for lunch (Cainan was with my dad)........after naps we were playing outside and some foreign girl comes riding up on her bike and says she is looking for moms with kids. I said I didn't want to talk to her, she persisted, but eventually just said, "Well, can you at least tell me who else has kids around here?"...."Uhhhh, NO!!!!!!!!!!" I got a really bad feeling about it all, so I called the police and told them. They sent an officer out later and he got all the information. I don't know if it was anything, but it made me nervous. Cainan of course thought it was the coolest thing ever having a real Champaign police officer come to HIS house, ring HIS doorbell, and talk to HIS mom!!!!!! At dinner, we had to talk about all the different police departments and what they do to keep our town safe.......after dinner we went to get some ice cream and he was staring at me in the mirror....he said, "Mommy, do you know why I'm staring at you?" "No, Cainan why?" I responded....."because I have Sooooooo many questions for you."......so inquisitive....gotta love it:)

So, today we went to Laney's birthday party at the Rantoul pool. We had a lot of fun and the weather was wonderful (for a change)!!! Cainan is doing so well swimming and Kiki as always is our little fish. They had a blast going down the Frog waterslide....Kiki saw it and said, "Bibbit, Bibbit" and she hopped up and down....so cute:) Afterwards, we came back into town and had lunch at the Courier. They got to end their fun morning with ice cream sundaes....Yummy....Kiki ordered hers with "bobcolate".......GOOD TIMES:)

So, once again Cainan amazes me!!!!!! He is really good at tennis, hitting it across the net, balancing the ball on his racket, and so on...This is only lesson #1, so I'm sure there is much more amazement to come:)

It is BEAUTIFUL outside today and we met my friend Nikki and her daughter Kendall at Hessal Park. I thought the water didn't come on until noon and we'd be gone by then, but I was wrong. Oh, well....the kids had lots of fun anyways.....next time I'll remember their suits. Kendall wasn't thrilled about the water and much preferred swinging, so there are no pics of her.
